Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 3, officially dubbed "Precision and Power," which is launching on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET across all platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Activision, along with developer "Treyarch" has now officially revealed the complete roadmap after weeks of community speculation. This season brings a significant amount of content across every major part of the game, such as: Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, Endgame, and the Battle Pass.

This Season 3 contains nine new and returning Multiplayer maps, six brand-new weapons, a new Zombies Survival map called "Ashwood," a mid-season round-based Zombies map titled "Totenreich," a massive new Verdansk Point of Interest called as "Launch Pad," and the Endgame co-op PvE mode going free-to-play for the first time. This update also introduces new gameplay mechanics, such as: "Wall Jump and Grapple Hook," which are being added to both Battle Royale and Resurgence modes, alongside a new Warzone operation called "Poison Pill" and the return of fan-favorite limited-time modes like Hot Pursuit, Prop Hunt Royale, and Iron Gauntlet.

The main operator of this season is "Javelin," which is a new character whose promotional art shows them wielding the "M27 Assault Rifle," which is a weapon iconic to 'Black Ops 2' veterans and one of the most requested legacy weapons in the community. Season 3 completes the Battle Pass with Javelin as its central figure, and players who fully unlock it will earn the "Riven," which is an Ultra Operator skin, while BlackCell subscribers receive an exclusive variant plus access to unlock additional warrior sisters: "Scarlett and Ash," through in-game challenges.

Season 3 delivers six new free DLC weapons: two, the MK35 ISR Assault Rifle and VST SMG, which are available through the Battle Pass at launch. The remaining four, the Strider 300 Sniper Rifle, 1911 Pistol, Siren Special Weapon, and Katana Melee Weapon, which are unlockable through events and weekly challenges throughout the season. New attachments are also arriving, including a "VAS Convergence Foregrip" for recoil stabilization, an Underbarrel Shotgun for the Shadow SK Sniper Rifle, and a Spear Gun for the X9 Maverick Assault Rifle.

The "Black Ops 7 Warzone Season 3 Ranked Play" now includes Resurgence rotation across Haven's Hollow and Rebirth Island, giving competitive players more variety. Season 3's mid-season "Reloaded" update is expected around May 7–14, bringing even more content including the full round-based Zombies map Totenreich. The "Verdansk" map gets a brand-new POI called "Launch Pad" in the southern hills, alongside a new LTM called "Launch Squad," where players must collect Launch Codes and survive until blast off.

Treyarch has confirmed that three more round-based Zombies maps are still planned for Black Ops 7 beyond Totenreich. For Resurgence Ranked Play, players compete on Haven's Hollow and Rebirth Island, with tiered rewards from Silver through Diamond ranks. By the way, for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, Black Ops 7 remains included at no additional charge.
