Mojang has recently confirmed that there will be No Minecraft 2 or has no plans for a Minecraft sequel, instead of that, they will focus on enhancing the original game with the updates and Agnes Larsson (Minecraft Game Director) confirmed that they’re planning to support Minecraft for at least another 15 years.
